Who is “you”

Review: “seek”
John 14:10–14 NKJV
Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
Matthew
Matthew 6:26–34 NKJV
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

is right after the last supper.
is during the sermon on the mount.
Jesus was working under the Father’s authority.
Now He has given us His name, so that we can ask under His authority.
We ask Him, or anyone or anything else, in His name (under His authority).
The Father was in Jesus performing the works. Now, because of the gift of the Holy Spirit, Jesus is in us!
Do the birds and lilies have to seek the kingdom of God first?
The principle is this: God takes care of His laborers.
If we put God’s Kingdom first, we are then one of his laborers.
The Father was in Jesus performing the works. Now, because of the gift of the Holy Spirit, Jesus is in us!
Questions:
1) What are you doing to seek the Kingdom of God?
2) Is that thing first in your life?
Serving God is fault-tolerant.
The Father was in Jesus performing the works. Now, because of the gift of the Holy Spirit, Jesus is in us!
How to tell if you are seeking the Kingdom first (not perfect):
You will know the answer to question 1.
if you don’t know yet, then the answer is: 1) helping my church, 2) writing everyday, and 3) taking advantage of opportunities
how many of you know exactly what you are called to do?
Your work for His kingdom is not optional.
Everything that would interfere with your Kingdom work, IS optional.
Your non-free time will center around it.
Your decisions, finances, conversations, and free-time will support it.
As His laborer, you have moved beyond a mere Christian, or a church-goer.
What do you think God’s attitude is, toward everyone who fits in those 5 things?
What would your attitude be, toward someone who put your desires and plans first in their life?
The enemy wants you to focus on “is it God’s will”. God’s wants you to focus on “am I in God’s will.”
THEREFORE, as one of God’s LABORERS, you don’t have to be perfect, you don’t have to be smart, you don’t have to have any answers or know anything, but you are absolutely “you.”
Ask anything, ask ANYTHING in His name, and He will do it for you!
Have FULL CONFIDENCE, as one of His laborers, this scripture applies to you! QUOTE IT FOR EVERY REQUEST YOU HAVE!
